I carry a mini file folder of coupons for products I typically use or want to try. It came in handy for this week's couponing trip because everything was out of stock at Target and CVS. I did an impromptu coupon shopping at Target and needless to say, I added more CVS rainchecks to my collection.
Here's what I got at Target:
Purchased:
$6.49 Maybelline Lumi concealer/highlighter
$5.99 Neutrogena makeup remover
$6.58 (2) Alexia sweet potato fries
Total: $19.06
Used:
$3.00 Maybelline face coupon from 2/2 Red Plum insert
$2.00 Maybelline face Target coupon (no longer available)
$1.00 Neutrogena cosmetics coupon (no longer available, but you can print $1.50 coupon here-link!)**
$2.00 (2) Alexia coupon from 1/19 SmartSource insert
$1.00/2 Alexia Target coupon here - link!
$0.80 5% Target card discount
Total: $9.80
Paid: $9.26
While deciding on which inexpensive Maybelline product I wanted this lady began talking to me and told me that she swears by the Neutrogena makeup remover. She said, "it removes waterproof mascara like no one's business." How did she know I needed a waterproof mascara remover? I took it as a sign grabbed one.
**$1.50 coupon is a manufacturer's coupon even if it's on the Target coupon site.
